How kitchen cabinet painting pricing works
Every kitchen is different, so we price your kitchen, not an average one. Our online estimator walks you through your doors, drawer fronts and other items step by step and gives you a preliminary price in about five minutes. We confirm the final price after checking the condition of your cabinets and any extra details.
As a guide, a standard refinishing project for an average kitchen is about $3,500. New HDF doors with refinishing usually run $4,500–5,500. Taxes are extra.
Our kitchen cabinet painting process

Online estimate. Enter your doors, drawers and panels in the estimator, or send us wide photos of your kitchen.

Assessment. We check the doors, the existing coating and the cabinet boxes, and recommend refinishing or new doors.

Preparation. We degrease, sand and mask the kitchen, and protect floors and countertops.

Shop spraying. Doors and drawer fronts are removed and spray-finished in our shop.

On-site spraying. Cabinet boxes and agreed panels are primed and sprayed in your kitchen.

Reinstallation. Doors and hardware go back on, and we do a final walkthrough with you.

How long does it take?
Most kitchens are finished in 1–3 days. When our team is running two kitchens at the same time, plan for 3–4 days. We confirm your schedule before booking.
Painting, new doors or refacing?
If you like your door style and the doors are in good condition, painting gives your kitchen a new colour and finish at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. For oak kitchens, we install new HDF replacement doors rather than refinishing the existing oak doors. If you want a different door style altogether, our cabinet refacing service keeps your boxes and replaces the doors and drawer fronts.
